We Use Fine Custom Blended Clay Bodies To Form Each Piece By Hand. No Casting Or Other Mass-production Processes Are Used. Each Piece Is An Original, Not A Copy. Because Of Our Hand-made Methods, No 2 Pieces Are Exactly Alike. Our Clay Is Fired In A Modern, Efficient Natural Gas Kiln To 1800F To Purge It Of Impurities Before Glazing. We Make Our Own Glazes From Basic Raw Materials So The Colors And Textures We Offer Are Also Unique To Our Ware. No Commercial Glazes Are Used. We Then Fire The Glazed Ware To 2350F. This "high Fire" Results In A Ware That Is Very Strong, Chemically Inert And Completely Waterproof. No Lead Or Other Toxic Materials Are Used In Our Glazes, Oven, And Ware. Our Ware Is Dishwasher Durable, Microwaveable And Food Safe.
