This unique location helps to explain why Curtis Creek has so many natural beach areas along its' shoreline. The park is operated by the Corps of Engineers and offers fully developed campsites and a shower building. Another highlight of the park is a boat ramp, which is located inside the campground and can be used exclusively by campers on a 24-hour basis. Individual campsites may be reserved through the National Recreation Reservation Service.
