The Black Hawk Horse Camp features four gravel, 30 amp electric campsites, four gravel primitive campsites, and outhouse facilities. Each site has corrals for the horses, hitching posts, picnic tables, and fire rings. A round pen for exercising your horse is available to all.
We are a campground that is owned by horse people for horse people. We feel we know what it takes to make your visit to the Pomona Lake area a great experience. Corrals are located close to your campsite so your horse is close enough for you to keep an eye on it and safe enough to take a trip to town, or go sightseeing places you cannot take your trusty steed. We have information and brochures for many of the area attractions, and can recommend many options for activities while visiting us. The Black Hawk trail system offers multiple accesses to the most scenic riding and hiking trails in Osage County.
